Horror films include films intended to frighten the viewer, to cause a feeling of anxiety and fear, to create a tense atmosphere of horror or painful anticipation of something terrible. The main characters of such tapes are vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc. As in many genres of cinema, in horror films, a picture of the struggle between Good and Evil appears before the viewer. However, the victory does not always remain with the Good.

Oleksandr Petrovych Dovzhenko (1894–1956) is a Ukrainian film director, writer, artist, founder of Ukrainian film art. A specific feature of O. P. Dovzhenko's work is the movement from the mythological structures of the ancient Slavic worldview to "social order" and social myth-making, which determined the peculiarity of the periodization of the director's legacy. A characteristic feature of French cinematography in the 30s–60s of the 20th century. was his constant connection with the processes taking place in the philosophical environment. Thus, the creativity of the country's leading cinematographers (M. Carnet, J. Renoir, A. But the author decently overcomes these difficulties, singling out the most noticeable and expressive tendencies manifested in film productions created at domestic studios. I. Zubavina observes how the breath of time changes the aesthetics of national cinema, how painfully these changes sometimes occur, but the author does not doubt their regularity and necessity.
